A blue heron searches through a tangle of pink reeds and imagined botanicals in Among the Pink Reeds. Inspired by vintage bird drawings, the piece begins with observation and then wanders—allowing color, memory and imagination to fill in everything around the bird.

Each print begins and ends right here in my studio. I print each one myself on beautiful, heavyweight art paper, then carefully inspect, hand-sign, and package it by hand. Prints are tucked into a protective clear sleeve with a sturdy backing board, ready to make their way from my little corner of the world to yours.
