Inspired by vintage bird illustrations and decorative botanical motifs, Birds of a Feather brings two white egrets together in a mirrored garden of flowers, vines and coral-colored reeds. Part natural-history study and part imagined pattern, the piece celebrates the particular magic of things found in pairs.
Each print begins and ends right here in my studio. I print each one myself on beautiful, heavyweight art paper, then carefully inspect, hand-sign, and package it by hand. Prints are tucked into a protective clear sleeve with a sturdy backing board, ready to make their way from my little corner of the world to yours.
